Default LSX TALLDECK Need Info

I found a talldeck LSX block with part number 19212323 on it, but I cannot find anything on the internet about it. Is this a good block or one to stay away from?

Its a good block, heavy.

Only down side to the tall deck LSX, has a factory cam position, so you're limited on stroke size. Need spacers for your intake and maybe for your oil pan, 4.375" stroke hits the GTO oil pan, may hit others. Not many use a factory pan with this block.

Its a good block that would allow you to use a heavy thick piston for Nitrous/FI but I don't think i'd use this for an NA motor.

Over 4.250 will require some work in the clearancing department. Small rod journal and/or cam base circle.

I have done 4.250" in a tall deck std. cam location with the right 2.100" rods several times. Works great, nice combo for 454 inches with a N20 piston built right.

That is a sound block.
