Default LS2 LS6 Or a built LS1

so im trying to figure out which way to go, a built ls1 is basicly cheapest easiest way for a big horse gain but your unable to do much more to it considerings its aready "built" so i could be stuck at a low number, however if i buy an LS2 410 hp and 6.0 liters i could upgrade that a bit (for a pretty penny)... so i think ive come to conclusion on buying a Stock 0 miles LS6 440 hp 5.7 and do all my internals when i get the engine to the shop, basic options here are built ls1 6,000 to 10,000 roughly, 450-550hp, LS2 10,000 410 HP stock, LS6 440 hp stock !!6000!!..........so i need opinions on what you guys think

I guess it just depends on what you want as far as power and also how much money you have to spend. If it were me i would get a 6.0 block, iron or aluminum, and build a stroker motor like a 402,408. If you can buld yourself this would be the way to go because you can make your own monster for the same if not less money than a ls1/ls6/ls2 and make more power. Just my .02

Hey bro it looks like you new here, welcome. First thing is look through the threads and use the search. Everybody want to do something different so its best to figure out what you want to do yourself. Why would you buy a brand new motor then tear into it and replace in internals? Just buy a high milage motor and tear into that, save some $$$

I'm in Florida and I am having Erik build a 408 for me. I might be interested in selling my 346 short block that just came out of the car. PM me if you have any interest.
