Black car blues
Anyone have an effective method for avoiding watermarks? I wash my car twice a week and drying it with the absorber is a pain. Do they make any nozzles or anything that helps? Black shows every imperfection!

you can use a leaf blower and then for the little water that remains use the absorber. You can also buy a filter or also known as a water softener and yes Black is a PITA

I use to get water marks until I changed my washing/drying method.
1. Wait until the sun is setting.
2. Park your car in the shade (to avoid any unnecessary heat).
3. Wash/rinse your car by sections. Don't do the whole thing at once. I usually divide mine into 5.
4. QUICKLY shammy or dry the car.
Just these simple steps made a world of a difference on my Black T/A.

DO NOT use the absorber.
I use Sonus waffle weave towels. SO much better.
As mentioned, do not wash while the sun is blazing.
Black is a pain....but it is SO worth it when it is clean.

I have a blade from Griots Garage and I can't imagine actually catching anything with it. It isn't a rubber blade its more of a spongy blade. Works amazing if you ask me.

I usually carry two of the Microfiber towels with me...use one to dry. After the car is dry I then apply the ICE spray wax with the other towel. After the waxing is all done, 99% of the "little hairs" you speak of are gone. If not, then just very gently go over the car so the towel gets em off.
