Thats a JL audio demo car. its from several years ago, but i love that car. I think they used it to launch their amps (when the slash series came out).

i never saw the door panels in it. when i saw it in person i didnt have my camaro.

When i said i can't remember where i got "these", i was referring to the pics not the panels, my bad. Yeah i would love to have them too, thats why i started this thread, to maybe put our heads together.
I have some new ebony door panels (uncracked) sitting in my game room, maybe i'll try to make something like these pics with my old panels.

Now MY gears are turnin....

Holly ****, those panels are amazing. Just the switch panels alone change the whole car's interior around. Our's look like they came from the 70's. . . Just chrome em' and our interior is back to it's 1975 form.

Makes me think of how guys make those custom ergo shaped speaker boxes. I would think all you would have to do is cannibalize an old panel for the logistics of mounting holes etc, and form/ shape the fiberglass however you wanted. A little re enforcing (sp) for the handle, then wrap it with some leather. That bent bar handle would take a little craftsmanship but you could design whatever else you had in mind.

Im thinking about trying something like this with my old panels when i install my new ones.

The door panels look great, and I understand why the back half looks like it does, but I hate it. I thought there was a jacuzzi back there at first glance.

But, like I said, the door panels are great. Very classy.
