I always just pull it out and turn the hose on if its a nice day. I can remember quite a few 60 degree days last winter here in the Northeast. You can rinseless wash, I forget exactly what its called. Look it up on youtube.

I hire a team of illegals for 5$.

No seriously, I just take it to teh spray it yourself wash and if the weather gets warm enough not to freeze tough it out and hand wash.

Yeah I take mine to the do-it-yourself spray car wash's when it's above freezing. I do the full soap and rinse but it'll never get it 100% clean. But my goal is just to get the salt off and the packed snow out of the wheel wells.

You're best bet is to give your car a good detail as late in the season as you can (wash, wax, condition leather / vinyl) that way you have a good coat of wax for the snow. Then if you do get a rare day where it's warm enough to tolerate wash / wax again. I always do mine once before winter and she's fine until spring. I've done this for 5 years running and the paint still comes out perfect every year.

I wash all my vehicles throughout the winter (but I don't drive my camaro in the winter so she get her last washing in early december and then get puts under the cover) . You need have freeze proof faucets, so you don't have to shut them off in the winter. These faucets put the actual shut off valve inside your house, so the water can't freeze in the pipe.

I just get all bundled up, put on a heavy set of rubber gloves, get the coffee machine brewing and go to town. With the amount of salt and **** they use around fucked up Jersey when there's like .0003" of snow, I can't afford not to.

When the weather warms up enough to not freeze I take the car to the car wash and use the high pressure hose there to give it a rinse down. It won't get as clean but it at least gets the worst of the stuff off and gets the salt off of it.

I usually park my s10 in my trailor..i cut out the far bedroom wall and added a door thing that works good.so i just run the waterhose in their and wash it because me and my wife have hardwood floors in our trailor and it doesnt hurt them..cause if i wash it outside the water freezes on it.and then i have to get buckets of hot water to get the froze water off.its a pain.so i do it inside.hope this helps

I have a shut off valve in my basement, my step dad just turns the water off during the winter. So I could just go down, turn it on, but when i'm done get all the water outta the hose and then shut the valve back off?

I walk outside and say F**k it ***** to hot right now I will wait till latter. I hate sweating in december its a real bitch.

When I was in the states "KS" I just waited till it was warm enough for the water to not freeze and do the fastest damn wash I could do.

I would suggest finding someone with a garage and do it in there. Thats what I do with my car here in hawaii when I want to wash during the day. So that I dont get nasty water spots all over the car from the sun. I am sure the same would work for you in a cold weather enviroment.

I do a good detail before the rainy season. Then another detail in the spring. I run it through a touchless in between. Love the Bay Area weather!

The Camaro gets washed at the end of November and put away. The other cars go through a touchless car wash every two weeks or so.
