Thats right it is that time of year again where my Trans Am will be stored in the garage for 6 months till spring comes around.
So today while my wife and son were sleeping i snuck away and got a head start on the detailing. I drove to my moms took the Trans Am outta the garge. I first started with taking of 4 15mm bolts so that i could put on my BMR STB. After i put the STB on i used Blackmagic 2 in 1 degresser and shine on the motor. Sprayed the whole motor and let it sit for about 25 mins. Rinsed off completly. Started it up and let it run for about 15 mins, in the mean time i was drying the motor off with a lint free towel too.
Next came the seafoam portion. Seafoamed the motor, i know you have read the sticky so i don't need to bore you with the details.
While seafoam was soaking in the motor, i let it sit for about 45 mins, i detailed the interior. Windows, dash, seats, center console EVERYTHING...
After 45 mins were up i took the car on a nice 5 min drive to get the seafoam out. And back into the garage it went
Sorry i did not take any pics, the car is not done. Plus i have not washed the car since July as it is not my DD and i have only put on 1,600 miles on it this year.
So Sunday is when i do the exterior. Start off by wahing it with Dawn, Clay Bar, then wash it with dawn again. Now i have some swirl and do not have access to a PC or buffer. So what do you recommend to take out swirls by hand? Then after i get the swirl out use Meguiars NXT on the car, swap out my rims park it in the garage, pull the battery and call it a year
So i will take pic on sunday when i am completly done with the car
BTW here is how my car sits now so you can get an idea..

I am looking for a PowerPack muffler to go after my flowmaster merge onto the I pipe. See if that takes some rasp out like it did for you. Also after i attach the PowerPack after the merge, i jsut bought a QTP flowtech pipe to attatch at the other end of the QTP pipe. I am goint to put my DMH e-cutout onto that.
It will look like this pic
