Default pressure washer: washing

i just picked up a nice 2200 psi husky gas pressure washer, i wanted to know if this thing is safe to use on my cars paint? or will it chip the paint off from the pressure? it comes with a low pressure nozzle that doesent seem to bad at all. does anybody use a pressure washer for there cars?

I use one, I don't remember the PS1 off hand. I remember one of the first things it said in the manual was "Not for auto paint removal" so I haven't had any problem.

as long as you dont get three inches away from a chip or a scratch you'll be fine. i use one thats i think almost 3K psi, and zero issues.

dean, soak it down with some simpole green after you have wetted the motor slightly. ONLY DO THIS WHEN THE MOTOR IS COLD!!

same priciple applies, dont blast away at the electronics and it'll be ok.
