Default HOW-TO make LED tail lights

A friend of mine took LT1 style tails and turned them into full LED tail lights. He had them at Bob's the other night and they looked really cool (when the turn indicator is on they light up in an arrow shape, when brakes are on it is full red).

Anyways, he did a write-up for them on my site and I thought I'd share...

Doesn't some company make something like this and sell it on Ebay? I would want to see some pics of this lit up on the car before I'd be crazy about the idea.

Pics on a car? Looks cool so far, but sounds like a PIA to do though!

9) For multi-function LEDs, the positive sides will all tie in together, and then the main lead will split. The dimmed portion needs to go through a high powered resistor. (I used a 47 ohm 15 watt resistor) The other lead needs to go through a Zener Diode to prevent feedback in the circuit. I used a 5 watt diode at 16 volts. Feel free to buy a few and experiment.
no pictures of this? i have no idea what those things are or how to wire them. i can kind of think how to wire the led's for a single stage but i would like to see pictures of how you would do #9

Nice looking but very hard to notice the car is blinking. I thought he wired the whole thing to brake and/or blink like the stock one.

I think that it looks SICK! And I would do the arrow thing, too (but probably add an extra arrow or two for visibility )
