Should i go gloss black or flat black on a maroon car?

flat.....gloss typically looks like you wrecked your car and got a junkyard piece, although there are a few cars on here that pull it off ok.

I have a patriot red metalic z28 with gloss and it looks amazing especialy sinc my top sail panel and side view mirrors are gloss black as well.

Gloss=cheap looking.

Do semi/satin.

same car different lighting. My opinion gloss looks finished but flat/ satin looks like you just aint made it to the paint shop yet.

i have mine gloss. i VHTed all of my lights, have black painted wheels, tints, and want to do something with my spoiler or an ss spoiler somewhat black. depends on the overall theme i guess.

**** pics but its all i could find. before tint....


super dirty hahaha no tips! ah!




it blends into the body alot nicer with the car cleaned and waxed.

I have an 01 MMM and did flat... looks much better than gloss IMO.

true berger is a satin/semigloss....so a berger rep should be same. gloss looks cheap/tacky, flat looks like a poor kid did it with rattle can
