Color for Billet Grille

Ok I got my new 67 chevelle emblem and ebay chrome grille for my pewter camaro and am going to paint it black before i put it on. I think im hearing flat black for behind the grille and Semi gloss for the actual grille???

I would paint the area behind the grille a satin black to match the sail panel...that is of course if u have the berger mod.

I dont have the berger mod but is that what color you would paint the grille also?
