Dashboard Glare
My car has a black dash board, sunlight glares and reflects off windshield, what cleaning product helps so this wont happen? I like 2001, and black magic but its glossy,

I get the same thing with a freshly wiped/armarol'd dash and from what i've heard from others, tinting the windshield is about the only way to get rid of it permantly.
Some people just put a very light tint, like 50-75% or so just to get rid of the glare without making it impossible to see out at night.
hope this helps.

Uh, you know you're not supposed to use shining agents on the dash pad if you want to avoid glare, right? Use only water and a soft cloth unless something like Pepsi spilled on it... It has a textured surface to diffuse the light, and when you put Armorall or Vinylex or anything like that, it shines it up and causes it to reflect. I accidentally got Vinylex on a corner, so I spread it over the entire surface. It took months for the glare to go away.

If you want to provide a bit of UV protection, use something with no/low luster.
Armor All makes a low/no luster protectant that I used years ago. It's hard to find, but protects the pad from UV damage but doesn't cause a glare proble.
Zaino may or may not make something...

Yup, polarized sunglasses does the job. However if you don't want to plunk down cash a descent pair there are a couple of products you can use. I personally use something called Cockpit Premium made by 1Z Einszett. Leaves absolutely no shine, if fact you can't tell you put anything on it but its good for maintenance cleaning and stuff. Its not really OTC though. Meg's quick interior detailer is available OTC and also does not lave any shine.
