Default Winter is almost over! C5 ready!

Up here in Michigan we hit 50* over the weekend! Melted a lot of our snow and was a great time to add another coat of Zaino, full detail, and back the car out and listen to the rumble! Snapped some pics while it was out there of course! Who else here has intense cabin fever and can't wait for the roads to clear up and drive their LS1 powered beauty?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I love warm weather as much as the next guy, but I'm not done snowboarding just yet. Gimme a few more weekends and I'll be ok w/ the 70's and sunny skies again.

I can't wait until winter is over. I haven't seen the car since I put it away, since it's not stored by my house.

I have to substitute by looking at a new set of heads every day.

Great looking 'Vette!

yeah i was gonna get mine out today but the roads are still covered in salt which is the whole reason my car is in the garage. i might actually take it out of the garage tomorrow, start it up and let it run for a while (hasn't been started since november 5th and the battery has been disconnected since then too). It rained earlier so maybe the roads will not be salt covered tomorrow. i guess i could at least pull it out of the garage and let it run for a while since it hasn't even been started in over 3 months

haha thanks. It is low! The air dam is only about 1-1.5" off the ground. It was built to scrape though. The corners are flexible plastic, almost rubber-like, and the center is hinged on a spring. Its all good! If it gets annoying i'll trim it up a little. I LOVE the stance though. Thanks for all the nice compliments. We were at about 40* today and the weatherman calls for 60* tomorrow!

Nice! I was very tempted to take my car up the road this weekend. Too bad the road was white with salt.

yeah thats why i don't have mine out either... there is no snow but there is salt. it rained pretty good today so maybe the salt will be gone. it at least will be good enough to get the car out of the garage, but if im not gonna drive it i dont know if its worth starting it up and pulling it out of the garage. i guess if i get it up to operating temp it'd be ok. its supposed to be 63 tomorrow and i havent even started my car since november 5th

i want to pull the t-tops off and take some pics of the new upholstery thats in the car since the only pics i have now are from when it was in the garage and they just don't look right (seats look way too light in the pics due to the flash/reflection)

Awesome vette! Sorry no cabin fever here... I usually take the vettes out once a week to make sure everything is good. Although it raining like crazy here in Phoenix.
