I wish mine had a cabin filter. If there was any solid info on it I would buy the parts from a wrecked 02 to install into my car. Until then I have to deal with a continual buildup of dust going everywhere (incl. into my eyes) and smelling cow **** when I drive through windy rural areas (except when I have my painters mask with organic vapor filter cartridges).

Mainly to keep dust and **** from flying in your eyes when you turn on the fan... It's happened to me enough times. Also helps keep the HVAC ducting clean so it doesn't happen in the future. If it had a charcoal filter then it would even filter out odors. Cabin filters are standard on most vehicles today, and charcoal filters are standard on most luxury vehicles today.

Yeah, i just had my glove box out when I was installing my Viper alarm, and I wasn't looking for a cabin filter but I sure didn't notice one, or where one would be.
