Default Getting custom emblems made, what colors? Anybody with custom badges come in

I am getting custom emblems made that says '408' on top and 'TWIN TURBO' underneath it. My car is blk with all red and blk oem emblems. SS on the sides etc.... I have a billet grill with polished FISKE rims. My ? is should I get the emblems made with red 408 and red twin turbo or red 408 and polish alum or chrome twin turbo. I can make 408 solid red or make it with a red outline and blk on the inside to match the SS badges. What do yall think? If any body has pics of custom emblems please post pics. Thank you

I had emblempros on here do some for me a few months ago, I just did stainless with etched black on it, no colors. What I wanted done he wasn't able to do in color due to the smaller size of it. The emblem I designed is similar to the outline of the Dick Harrell cars side emblem, with different text on it. They turned out really nice, I'll try and get a pic or 2 of them up before too long. I was like you though, what I designed didn't have 'Z28' or 'Chevrolet' on it anywhere so it didn't conflict with licensing/patent laws.

We have a lot of GM emblems on our site. We can customize them anyway you want also (different font, logos, sayings, etc). If you come up with what you want, let me know and I'll get a custom rendering made so you can see it. http://store.specializedstainless.co...2002%3AEmblems

Thank you

just match them as close as you can to the ones already on the car, imo it will look cleaner that way.

I thought so. So if I keep the emblem red/blk it will look cleaner. So you think the chrome will throw it off?

That picture is tight because it looks like you have a blue stripe on the side of the WS6 hood that fades to black as you go towards the rear of the car.

Default GN hood emblems

Ide actually like to see some made that replicates the 86-87 buick GN hood cowl emblem that read 3.8 SFI TURBO but could change the CI to our likeing
I think 6.0 SFI TURBO would look BAD *** on my factory APS 35th LE SS hood or even 6.0 SFI TWIN TURBO and tilted alittle too. I use to own a 87GN and always like the cowl emblems on those and made small enough maybe 1'' or 3/4 tall to fit nicely on the cowls side like it did on the GN!!What do you think Specialty stainless ?can it be done?

Default GN style hood emblem ?

Does anybody on here have a GN or can take a pic of a GN hood emblem and that could post on here for me to give everyone the idea im trying to get across about this custom hood emblem for our hoods? The more i thought about it last night and after looking at my hood 20 times last night LOL i think
6.0 SFI TWIN TURBO (tilted) alittle and in the same font as the original GN hood emblem ,would be the **** !! Ide buy a set right now if specialized stainless would make em and they could be changed so easy to accomadate everyones needs like 5.7 SFI TURBO, 6.0 SFI TURBO, 6.2 SFI TURBO and so on and so on. I like it because it would look factory ,because thats the look im looking for. Nice & clean, not all colorfull and busy like some emblems ive seen on here before. A nice brushed aluminum or chrome lettering kit thats allready spaced and everthing thats just a peel and stick and not being charged $20 a letter like some companys do!
