help wrecked my car pics inside
hello i was in a minor front end hit. deployed both airbags i am asking if it is worth repairing and if so how do u remove the pass airbag and replace......

Looks not that bad. New front bumper and replace the steering wheel with a aftermarket one (i have a grant, click the link in my sig and check page 2 or 3 for pics) I removed the passenger airbag awhile back to save weight. Just pull the dash off and remove all the remaining air bag equipment (bracket, air bag computer, wires) You will probably need a new dash pad (roughly 100 bucks used) and the air bag cover but nothing that isnt fixable. well they already blew so cant screw anything up, just pull the fuse if you are worried about it, and if you are permantly deleting your airbags, just start pulling it out save you about 20 pounds total

i want to keep the car i just want to put used bags in it to fill the holes back in and not even hook them up i will be removing the fuse i just don't know how the passenger one comes out

damn airbags deployed with that minor front end impact. If you wanna make it safe again get a new clockspring new impact sensors, and of course new bags. Or just go to pick-a-part and get you a pass side bag and go with aftermarket wheel and pull the fuse. It's only worth fixing if you think it is. If it was my car I wouldn't repair it just delete it but thats me

if you were closer you could come to my house with the car ive replaced them before cause of the same problem. go ahead flame me idc i couldnt afford someone else to fix it. when you go to a shop or whatever i have an extra DS airbag. find out how much one costs cut it and half and add shipping and thats all i want for it. just let me know pm if you want ill hook you up with it i dont need it anymore lol
