Default Anyone who's recovered their seats

Just finished redoing my seat with leather seats dot com kit and
they are a little loose. Will they tighten up ?
The website says they will but how much ?
I didn't have the budget to replace foam right away
but I'm thinking I need to find some new foam. From
Chevy it was inexpensive but discontinued for my 2000.
Thanks

I'll post pictures soon

I don't know too much about upholstery but I have seen installers use steam to tighten up the the leather!

Steam was supposed to expand the foam (i tried it ) but after nine years of compression I was asking a little too much,

Honestly I think they look great!

Think about it this way too though- after so many years of use and abuse, I personally think that for the long run, it would be of more benefit to have the leather a little looser, providing a bit more stretching ability, as opposed to it being super tight. I know a lot of higher end cars have the lower back portions and the siding done in a looser manner to extend the life of them.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for the compliment. I guess when a car has 125000 miles
I'll have bigger problems than a couple of wrinkles.

I've heard from a few different sources that the more you sit in them, the more they "mold" to the seat. So, i guess its just a matter of using them. I think they look really good. I'm getting ready to cover all my seats with leather. Can't wait, cuz i hate the greyish looking zebra cloth.
