Default GTO Fuel Rail Covers

Or coil covers, whatever you prefer to call them. I want to put a set on my T/A and just replace the name badge. And maybe paint them. Will they fit. I assume yes. Do they bolt on, clip on, or just sit there. Anyone know where I can get a set for a good price?

If you're looking for Fuel Rail covers for your T/A seek out InfiniteReality here. I don't know if he has sold his Firehawk yet, but he probly still has the pics of his custom work. He had some Corvette rail covers filled in and repainted in the body color with the Firehawk logo painted on, and it looks awesome. He gave me links a while back of where you can get that done. If you can't get a hold of him email me at calypso85896@hotmail.com and I can dig up that site.

Hope this helps

Thanks guys but I'm not looking for a tricked out custom look. I want a factory look and I like GTO's covers better than the vettes. I just can't find any for less than 160.00

Did you check afterthoughtsauto.com? I'm not sure what their price is, but if it's more than $150 it's probly because they have to change Corvette covers. I'm not sure that anyone makes covers for an F-body, but for a fair amount afterthoughts can do a lot to make them look good. It's not cheap, but they can match your car's paint code and do custom lettering and logos.

Apparently I've heard a problem with them rubbing onto the fuel line, and causing problems. Might want to look into this before you put them on.

Just read that thread. Cliff notes for anyone who doesn't want to read about, the plastic cover rubs on the fuel line and eventually breaks a hole into it.

Solution: wrap the fuel lines and file down the inside of the cover.

Thanks for the link.

They look great, but make sure you are aware and take the necessary precautions by wrapping your lines!
