Default new grill what do you think?

Finally got my new grill on, I think it looks great of course. I am thinking about painting black behind the grill though. What do you guys think? I know I'm going to hear "take off the gfx" but that's not really in the plan. I'm one of the guys that likes em, sets me apart from every other camaro I see. Also, I know it needs to be lowered, that's coming.

I'd love to get some opinions, pics to back up those opinions would be awesome too. I'm posting links to before and after pics. Sorry I can't figure out how to post full size in the thread.
thanks

like the others are saying, paint behind the grille black and paint the billet grille black too. Looks great, nice addition. Also go look at some pics of the old z28 badges, Ive always liked it when you guys put those on that grille, makes it look "classy"

Definitely paint it black behind the grill. Oh and get these to go along with the grill http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-02...#ht_2834wt_993. Black and Red combo= NICE. Red and Orange= Not so nice Start saving up for some wheels too, wheels are by far the best appearance mod in my opinion. Maybe go with some Black C5 Z06's with the polished lip to continue the Red/Black theme

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm amazed there haven't been more sap haters posting, and no 4x4 comments. I've been thinking that instead of putting a retro z28 emblem or bowtie on the grill that I might go with the 1969 camaro script on the grill. Has anyone seen this done, I've searched alot.

Personally everything looks good and I liked how your car looked with the fender stripes.

I think a bowtie would go best, IMHO. There's something understated about it and that seems to go a long way. Something like this:

black billet w/black background and gold bowtie = winner!

God those Dick Harrell cars are damn beautiful. It does make me think more about doing a bowtie in the grill
