Default New Mods...Nitrous...Tinted Windsheild...SOM Filler

I have added a few things to car in the last couple months getting ready for the 09 show season. Here are few pics:

First mod is a custom filler panel done for me by Pontiac Fan....it looks even better in person!

Tinted the windshield with 35%:

Nitrous Outlet Plate Kit w/ Big Show Purge and custom bottle mount (I also polished the billet mount):

Absolutely Beautiful. This car is a perfect example of how an F-Body should be modded

I tried clear lights...for about 5min and didnt like those at all. I think the black ones look great on SOME colors but SOM is different. I dont want to draw atention to them so leaving them stock is the best way to blend them in. Thats why clear looks so good on white, pewter, and silver and why black looks so good on black...they blend in rather than stand out. But I said all that to say they are staying stock.

As for the CETA...yeah I thought about it and on the right color car it looks great, but again on SOM with the theme I have going I just dont think so. Plus I do not want to touch the original paint.

I agree, leave those stock. People have told me to get black corners, to black out my tails, etc etc. To me that looks good either on a BLACK or WHITE car because it helps things to blend in. But why take orange/red corners on an orange/red car, which already fit in well, and make them stand out negatively. Thats my opinion!

Nice shots nonetheless

The springs are Stranos with AGX shocks. All the rest of the suspension is BMR.

Exactly...what works great on one car looks like **** on others! Just because a mod can be done doesn't mean it should be! .

Thanks again for the compliments. We have some things we have to take care of early this year but plan to do A LOT of traveling to shows after that so I am sure we will make it out that way before long. If you hear of any big ones out that way PM the info!

We were down in Orlando this past weekend for the Wide Track Warriors all Pontiac show and for my feature shoot with High Performance Pontiac. I will post pics from that later. The shoot went GREAT and I did fairly well at the show.... (LOL...I posted that before I saw lilhotrod's post!)

Looks awesome! I was thinking about the SOM filler panel vs a silver T/A filler, but I was going to wait until mine starts to fade.

That looks really good. I love how clean the nitrous install is. Do you ever plan on using it other than for purging.

ALSO...have you thought of changing you front sidemarkers to red?

Thanks...I think it turned out GREAT. I also wrapped my stealth subbox in what was left (and I thought I had a pic but can't find it!) The HPP staff was really blown away by how clean and both looked rapped in leather! Its a GREAT product and can be used for a lot of stuff besides covering the plastic...thats for sure!

I had a silver filler for a CETA on mine and it just didnt match anything. I hated it, but I put it on my silver TA and it looks PERFECT. I was a bit sceptical of how the SOM one would look until I got it and got it on the car! It looks GREAT...you should get Pontiac Fan to make you one. For the money you can't beat it and the work is top notch!

I got to ATL quite often to shows. In fact there is one at Summit Racing the first Sat of May...its the Ban One all Firebird show. You should really ride down for it. My car will be inside Summit on display on the turn table for at least the week prior to the show and through the show.

Also I will be in Braselton at the Year One facility for the end of the Bandit Run on the 3rd Sat in May.

Its fully fuctional with a window switch and all...so I am SURE it will be played with! lol Actually, I know I am going to do some dyno pulls with it to get some real numbers and too I was invited to participate in the High Perfromance Pontiac shoot out in VA at Pontiacs in the Park...so I MAY do that and of course will be running it on the spray then. I didnt build it to be a race car but it would be sweet to have a feature in one issue showing how pretty it is and then be in shoot out article racing it in another issue. I just don't know...that's kind of like letting your girlfriend do a porno. lol

As for the lights...I tried it with all orange (or yellow) and it looked wierd at night.

Wow Robbie it is looking great man. I love the filler panel.

Hey where did you get the filler panel? Was it like the stock one and you sanded it down then added your own decal? Or did you buy it as i see it?

Thanks. I bought it from Pontaic Fan...the guy on here with the black and gold Aniv Firehawk. He took a stock one and sanded it down...painted on the logos (no decals) and then cleared and buffed it out. The work is outstanding. PM him and I am sure he can do one for you how ever you want it. Hes doing a white one for me for lilhotrods car this week.
