I didn't use a template i just cut it by fitting it on and by eye. I pretty much just did it by eye, cut it with a dremel and all that good stuff

Haha i think i spent enough time doing my own, But first i cut them to fit with a dremel, then i filled it with fiberglass, but with the fiberglass i cuts the smallest little shavings to mix in with the resin. Filled in corvette, but make sure you get as many air bubbles out as you can or else you will be trying to fill them with primer. Than i used 100 grit sandpaper with an air-powered sander cause i was not doing that by hand. And i did all the rough edges i cut with the 100 grit by hand then followed with a 400 grit. I bought Dupli-color filler primer (gray) did a bunch of coats of that, sanded it with 400 grit, than did a 2 more coats of primer. Than i let that fully dry overnight and then i did the pewter there is a book at autozone that gives you the number of your paint scheme. I painted them pewter with dupli-color paint, let it dry overnight, than i glossed it with dupli-color gloss. Then applied decals from afterthoughtsauto.com

(a bunch of light coats are better than a few heavy coats) Good luck
