Well the motor is all in. Still have some things to work out but here are some pics.

Engine bay stock when i bought it in 04 with the 3.8l


Modded, taken a few months before i pulled it


New motor in..

nice good job man. How hard was the swap? You freshen the motor or build it while it was out?

Looks good, I like the Bling. I bought the polished intake elbow and chromed it and I get many compliments on mine. Would look great on yours as well.

its so much easier to do all the good stuff to the motor with it out isnt it.

thought about it but the lt1 elbow is oval when the ls1 tb is round

Awesome job man, I remember you from CamaroV6/FirebirdV6, TomRS is your name there right? I havn't been on that forum in quite a while, especially after getting my own T/A, still got the Sixer, but don't feel like modding that any more.

I was thinking about doing the LS1 swap on the V6 Firebird but decided getting a T/A would be easier and still save me a DD. Awesome job though, its cool to see the RS with and LS1 in it.

I love it! its like a "sleeper". I had a 97 rs and have always wanted to do that and keep the badges so people thought i was "slow" haha great job!
