Painted Ls-X intake!
As i mentioned on my smoothed valve cover post, here is the finished ls-x intake with a inspiration from muffinbusters Zr-1 emblems, which i will buy as soon as he puts them out.
Primered.
Red where the lsx decal will go.
Making the decal using a print out of muffinbusters emblem (I hope thats not illegal)
traced out and taped it where i wanted it.
Cut out using a razor blade.
Sprayed two coats of black with a 10min flash time between coats.
After two coats of black base and letting it dry, then pulling the home made decals very maticulous.
After two coats of clear!!

Intake was sanded with 80grt, then three coats of primer surfacer. After that i sanded the primer with 400grt. I dont ever sand the base. The only time is if i get a blemish or a bug, then ill just sand the spot and give it a light coat.
The paint is all proffesional. I had to take the intake and valve covers to TxMaro so he could spray the primer. I dont have a gun that could spray it.
