Default New project "drag car" newbie

Well here goes. I just bought a roller and I'm in the process of putting it back together. Didn't really know what forums to post it in. The car i bought is a 98 trans am. The car was gutted in side and out. Only parts left in the car was interior wiring harness, and steering wheel. I'm gonna post pics for begining to end.

I got the car sunday morning. Bought it off another member here. The interior is 75% finished up as of last night. I rewired in a 99auto interior wiring harness. I have the dash installed. I gutted the dash, no air bag, no heat/a/c, .. removed all the interior speakers. Here are some more updated pics as of this morning.Only metal work as of now i'm doing is sheet metal cover for the blend box hole and I'll be doing some custom sheet metal work with the vents and misc plastic trim that missing.

Well my original plan was to swap my built engine out of my 2000 trans am and auto trans for drag racing. After thinking hard about it I'm gonna put a 99 stock ls1 in it with a built 4l60e, circle d 4c converter in it. I just order a nitrous kit through ws6 store. "150 wet kit" .. I'm gonna see how fast I can go with the stock engine and nitrous. By this weekend i should have all the interior done and be in the process of swapping in the engine. Here is a list of whats going into the car:
M/t drag slicks
summit star 15x8 wheels
greg weld fronts 15x3.5
circle d 4c verter
built 4l60e
3:42 rear with girdle
nitrous outlet 150 nozzle shot
slp lid
lca relocation brackets.

I'm taking out the a/c condensor, pump and lines. removing egr, air pump, and all engine misc stuff thats extra weight. I thought about keeping the rear seats out but hell the things weight 2 pounds maybe. Don't know why people say it helps. I hope i can post pics of a finished interior and engine going in this weekend. Keep in mind i only have a couple hours a day to work on car.... damn work anyway.

Looking good, are you gonna take the motor out of the wrecked black T/A you had in your garage?
