hi does anyone know if the 4th gens came with red interior. im looking for some red leather 4th gen seats without having them custom made. any pictures or input will help. thanks everyone

Yes Trans Am's and Trans Am gts came with a red and black interior. Its so rare youll never find just the seats. Just have them custom made it'll will br easier and cheaper.

I have seen one in person with all red interior, 94-97 body style. It was at a gm dealership in ohio. Dealer said it was a very rare interior option, don't know if it was factory or not

Bingo. LT1-year T/A's had red leather -- the best looking interior of all Fourth Gens, bar none. White leather in the Camaro gets second place.

i have a 99 ss with grey interior an red inserts, red door panel inserts also. Although it is cloth i've never seen one before.

There was a red TA convert at a show I was at that had factory red interior---it was a 93or 94 I think.

Ive seen both a white and red 93-97 t/a with the red leather interior. By far the red interior on a white car is just a thing of beauty the red on red im not so much a fan of but it is still very rare indeed.

Here was my last T/A, 1995 A4 w/FACTORY red leather interior. Every time I bumped into an f-body enthusiast, they would always ask, "where did you get that red interior?", and I'd always reply, "the factory".

Im pretty certain it was only 95 that the red interior was offered, always thought it was nice. Wouldn't work with every color imo, actually now that i think about it the only ones that i've seen have been white as well.

Thats crazy, I just saw this thread and there is a White lt1 ws6 TA down the street that has the Factory Red interior and it looks KILLER!
BEST Option GM EVER made in my oppinion!

96 and 96 for sure, maybe also 93 94. I've seen it on a red car and a black car. But the black i think was repainted vlack and was orignally some other color but the red car was a stock trans am.In fact the pic i posted above is of a red car if you look you can see the hood. Well, i posted a link heres the pic

Rare factory colors are Red, Camel, Tan, and White. I had a 94 Trans Am that had Tan (rather than neutral before someone confuses it) and it was the nicest interior i've had to date, 5 firebirds later. Real letaher, rich and supple, smelt like an old caddy. My newer trans ams all have "real" leather too but in that one, you could actually tell where the leather stopped and the vinyl started. I dont know, GM does some amazing stuff but its so far and few between that no one knows about it, even a website full of hardcore enthusiasts. YOud think when they do something this monumentally great, theyd do it more often!
