need help. hooked up hid kit and their not coming on

Default need help. hooked up hid kit and their not coming on

How did you all hook up your kits. Directions suck. I did it how I thought but their not comin on.

i got one from ebay too, hooked everything up and nothing came on, i called and they said i need a relay and a bunch of other garbage. i didn't want to add more spaghetti under the hood so i sent em back

Figured it out. The harness that came with it was wired wrong. It had my positive going to ground and ground going to positive. Had to pull the pins out of the connector and swapped them.

yeah, you just need to flip the connector around.

well its a weather pack connector and can only clip on one way. They had the wires criss crossed in it. But ya just had to switch the wires in the connector

mine was the connector, turned it 180 and slid it back in, and mine worked.

It is GM's stock harness is wired backwards of everything else out there. I switched the wires on my stock harness. That way HID kits work fine but halogens will to if I was to go back (just in case) because halogens don't have any polarity.
