Default Shift Light Mounting Locations

Well i just bought a Raptor shift light from KY-Speed https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-g...-ky-speed.html and would like to see where some of you guys have mounted yours, i would like a slightly stealth install instead of just sticking out some where

A friend told me he has seen them mounted in the A-Pillar vent for the side windows but i couldn't find anything when i searched.

drill the exact size hole in the pillar..stick it through flush or so as far as you want then epoxy the back ..if you mess up the pillar is like ten bucks at any local junk yard!

Mine is also in the defroster vent. I took the cover off and dremeled out the back of the fins and snapped it back in place. In all but direct sunlight, you cant tell its there (except when it blinks on/off as I start the car).

Here's a pic with it illuminated:

I like the defroster vent idea. Also in the center vent it can't even be seen until it is one.

Since mine is too big to fit in the vent I have it on the steering column. I don't have any pics of it mounted like that yet though.
