Alright so a while back I installed my SLP lid and the stupid hood went down perfectly the first time no trouble. Popped the hood a week later and it looked like this. Any ideas on how to fix that scratch?

That's a pretty common problem. The red paint from your hood should come off the lid with just some rubbing with a scouring pad or something like taht, mine came off just rubbing it good with a dry cloth. I put a piece of foam in the that spot on mine bcause I was never able to get it to clear properly.

Actually now that you say that I think I remember that people who were having this problem on here discovered the lid was not seated properly in the tray.
