Hide Wires--what gauge for the big wire?

As it says... I am hiding the PCM wires on the passenger side and using 16 gauge wire for the normal wires, but what size wire did you use for that one big thick wire?

Almost positive that I've used a 12ga on the 4 cars that I've done.
