Sonars are in!!
Well I put in my "sonar" headlights that I got from the seller on ebay racing_guys... I have two problems though. The rubber around both headlights is coming off in some areas, and there is 3/4 of an inch gaP between the bottom of the housing and the front bumper??? I havent adjusted them at all. I know there is two spots to adjust the lights. How do I close this gap and for the rubber coming off I'll have to get some clear rvt adhesive and reglue them. Any help on how to aim these things and to fix the gap problem would be helpfull. Thanks!!!!

Aim them first. If they are way out of aim the gaps can be really bad. But to help close the gap on the bottom, there is a screw you can adjust. Bottom center of the headlight on the back there is a screw/bolt going between the bracket and the headlight housing. If you turn the screw counter clockwise it will push the bottom of the light outward. I did that on mine a little and it helped a lot.
As far as the rubber, it shouldn't be bad... I'd be tempted to get them replaced. But you can use some glue (that clear adhesive works) to reattach it. Was it that way out of the box? Mine pushed off a little by accident when I was putting the headlights in, I mashed it against the bumper and it peeled it slightly so I gotta reattach it at some pont.

So here's what I'm thinking.....
I'd like the halos to be brighter. Considering taking apart the Sonars and replacing the LED halos with CCFL halos. Also maybe painting some of the chrome on the bottom side of the light black (for being black housings there is still quite a lot of chrome in them). Then maybe replace the rubber as mine is cracking.
The only concern is that I might screw something up in taking them apart and costing myself another $180...

Mine came with the rubber coming off also... but the rubber has since cracked and peeled away. I plan on taking them apart and redoing the rubber all together, or sell them for some stockers.
