eBay SS Hood, anyone know of a good seller?
I want to buy an SS hood and I'm looking on eBay. Has anyone bought a hood on eBay and was satisfied with the product and fitment?

does suncoast make decent hoods? i'm looking into a raptor from them.... also, i've heard you need to change the hood lifters? because it eventually starts to warp the hood because theyre too strong, is that true?
theres another post with someone wanting to buy an ebay hood as well and people said definitely not to...

i myself have bought two hoods on ebay . and BOTH are absolutely GORGEOUS and costed under $300 a pop, plus like $120 for shipping, but shipping vary's based on location so it could be lower depending where you live, it was c.o.d. The seller was hood4sale, i bought the 3" aero cowl hood for my '99 camaro, and i just got a ws6 hood for my trans am, both bolt-ons. I took both cars to a shop to get installed, fitted, and painted, and both times i have gotten perfect results. Hold on just a second, i'll post up a picture of both cars.
Sorry, no great up close pics of the hoods but here ya go.
-the only pic of the ws6 hood so far was when i was putting on the stripes. i just got it back from the shop like 3 days ago.
-my grill inserts are in the mail, should be here in the next couple days

i bought my ws6 hood on ebay. new hood, painted, and shipped for $500. the only thing that sucked though was the nose cracked a little during shipping,, but i fixed that with tough up paint, and the corner has some stress cracks which show thorugh the paint. should of had it painted locally after i received it though.

PM Slowpoke310@APF The fitment of the Trufiber hoods is excellent. If you like I could list it on ebay but then I would have to raise the price lol

just had to chime in on this one. having bought different hoods for all 4 of my previously owned cars, i can say if you buy cheap hoods you will get cheap looking results. Any good body man will always ask if the hood is aftermarket or OEM bc it makes a BIG difference in prep, fitment, and finished product. Do your homework. ALLWAYS test fit b4 prep and paint. And if you have to buy after market buy from established companies such as our sponsers.
