Love your car man. Looks magazine quality to me. And keep your wheels. They have a great relationship with the rest of the car.

Well, I love my wheels but I hand painted them (long story). They look really good in pics and from a distance but not so good up close. I wish they were shiny black also. I've looked into getting them powdercoated and the lip machined but Grand Sport wheels are so cheap and I'm tired of screwing with them. I'm definitely going to have black wheels with a silver/polished/machine lip though. I love the look.

Thx! Yeah, I hope it lowers a little more in the back. It is a little stiffer. There seems to be less rattles and less body roll also.

Did you just swap out the springs alone? If so, hows the ride?

Yep.

I said part of that on an earlier post but you might have missed it.

"It is a little stiffer. There seems to be less rattles and less body roll also."

There is a banging noise that sounds like it's from the right rear when I hit a bump hard enough and I feel it. I'm thinking I need to replace one of the shocks and maybe it's just more noticeable now that the new springs are on. Other than that, it's great. From what I've read, it's not necessary to change other things out with this much of a drop. If it was more (like the Sportlines) it would be necessary.

Don't you believe this. After it settled I really could tell. I'm using my tax return to get new shocks, an adjustable panhard bar and LCA relocation brackets.

i think u should keep those wheels. alot of people have the grand sport wheels and i love the way those rims look in black. they might be cheap but if u buy grand sport wheels, then sell your - there is a big price difference between new and used rims. urs not having a professional finish on them, u wont get much out of them. get them powdercoated.
