Question best way to quiet / get rid of interior rattles?

Now that I have installed the true duals, the exhaust is identifying every rattle in my interior for me. Particularly the center console. I was wondering if anyone has done or knows the best method for quieting these little plastic vibrations / rattles. The worst two areas are the ashtray lid and the center piece of the center console (the piece that has the cigerette lighter and that little cubby hole up front).

Thanks,
Brian

For area's that are covered up or you can't see; a litte bit of rubber cement works wonders . Just be sure to let it dry before you put them back in contact or you'll have those 2 area's stuck together

Id use silicone instead of cement, much easier to remove.

Try fatmat or dynamat.

also.. the small rubber bumpers you can get at Home Depot work good for stopping some rattles. a little piece of felt between squeeking panels works well also.

Dynomat type stuff under the carpet, in the doors, sail panels, etc helps ALOT.

Oh, putting subframe connectors on you car as SOON AS POSSIBLE after its new will help many squeeks from ever starting..

That's what I did, now about 20K miles later, not a rattle one.

All of the above. If that doesn't work... turn up the radio.

All of the above with true duals and long tubes.
