Default Question about 335's

I just got a set of grandsport rims for my camaro with 335/35/17 tires on the back. In order for the rims to fit I had to bang in the inner fender. The rims cleared the inside but were close. So just to be safe I put 1/4 inch spacers in between them. They don't rub at all. I was wondering if anyone else has used these tires without spacers ? Did they rub? Thanks in advance.

Did the tire and rim combo work after inner fender mod without the spacer, or did U "need" the spacer ?

It cleared the inner fender, but I wasn't sure if it would rub going around a corner or a steep driveway, so I put them in. It might have worked without them, but not sure. I didn't try.

What I found with my 315's was all tire rub was eliminated with the installation of a BMR adjustable panhard rod !

I was able to center the rearend perfectly and the ends are rod ends so there is no bushing to flex or give !

If U put one of these in U may not need spacers !

I am not a big fan of spacers to begin with !

In the Spring I plan on upgrading to 335's myself !

Thanks, I was going to do a panhard rod later, but now I'll do it a little sooner.
