Re: removal of front camaro grille
When I replaced mine I took off the bolts under the car by the air dam, reached behind the grill and pushed the tabs out. You will still have 2 or 3 bolts holding the grille on. I had a friend pull the grille out far enough that I could get a pair of big scissors behind it and cut the plastic "screws" that are molded to the back of the grille. Once I got the grille off I just hit the fascia where the "bolts" were and they fell out through the bottom.
This wil obviously ruin the stock grille but I do not plan on ever putting it back on

Re: removal of front camaro grille
What I did was remove the whole front bumper . I like takeing this apart. It was kinda hard geting to the bolts around the headlight area(3 or4 eachside), but i managed. I was first going to yank it off, but didnt want to go through the trouble of finding another. You know just in case.

I will vouch for the yank hard then harder method. . .BUT I ended up damaging the grill (which was removed anyway). Can't reuse the thing now though
BUT it does come off that way. . .
Yank carefully. . . .

you can pull out all the lower facsia pins and bolts then reach in behind and undo the nuts from the top of the grille. I think there are 3. The bottom ones are push on clips. You can flex the bottom of the fascia enough to get your hands in there if you remove all the attaching hardware at the bottom.
