Default Steering Wheel & Door lock/Power Windows

Does anyone know what led bulbs fit a 1998 trans am steering wheel?
Also are there led bulbs on the door locks and power window buttons, not sure since mine are not lit.

Ok I am about to order the bulbs now from what I remember the 4410x9 bulbs don't look like the ones that are in my rear view mirror lights .. So those are them right ? The 4410x9 those fit with no issues for the map lights ???

Glad someone bumped this. I was going to make my own thread asking if someone has made a thread like this. I'm little confused on what all to get.... If anyone could let me know which ones.

So I'm going to get:
5 cool white WLED-xHP6-AC: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb for the main cluster
2 red WLED-xHP6-AC: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb for the turn signals
1 warm white WLED-xHP6-AC: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb for the high beam light
2 cool white 74-xHP for the door light
2 cool white 4410-x9 for the rear view mirror

Now which LED do I get for the steering wheel, dash, & rear license plate??

like some of the other guys said if you have a 2001/2002 I don't think the 4410-x9 work in your mirror. Pop off the plastic cover with a flathead screw driver an look in there to see what it is.

Good write up on the rear license plate light. I did this to mine.

From the looks of everyone not having a clue what to get for LEDs, this mod is probably too hard for you.

This is the type of LED bulb that is a replacement for the rigid loop bulb in the dome light. Autolumination has other types. The pic below is from superbrightleds.

Not sure how good the light output is on these.

Ok, am I completely retarded or where do the "colored door lights" go???

NEVERMIND i found them, both of mine were burned out so I never knew they were there.

Now I have a new problem though, the driver side looks great, but the passenger side.. not so much. It is extremely dim, the light itslef is fine, but when I put it in the holder it puts hardly any light out of the small hole... Any suggestions??

Do they make a led board that can go in the rear (dome) light? One that emits more light or has anyone found one that actually lights up the car more than just the back seat top

okay i seen the wledx5 for the main cluster, but i don't see too much about the other cluster bulbs like the brake warning, engine light, hi- beam, low coolant, seat belt, abs, air bag, etc. On superbrightleds website it shows pc74 for the stock bulb, and in led it is a t1.5-x or t1.5-xhp. Anyone use these? I did and they work except the seat belt just dim but wont go out. But the check engine does go out and stay off, and the high beam works when u switch so its fine. But the low coolant, brake and air bag stay on.

Any thought thanks.

I bought the socket type festoon accidentally instead of the loop. Is there anyway that I could make it work and avoid the problem of having my trunk area lit up instead of the back seat by either gluing or solder it in place or getting a cheap bulb that has the loop end caps and putting them on? I did see eckind sells LEDs where the loop is facing the opposite way.

I bought that and hated it, it did not light up both the rear seats and cargo area like the stock bulb, I went with this. You can position it the way you want as well.

how did you get that to stay in the holder. I have tried to push the pins tighter, but the led i have keeps falling out.

#1 don't ever say please..much less twice. No one will ever respond , not just here but any forum, blog...etc

#2.. You won't be able to see **** in an all blue interior....

......#2.5 its ricey

#3... You WILL get pulled over when you put bright blue lights anywhere that matters on the exterior vehicle (like the license plate light)

#4 .... http://www.modifiedlife.com/2002-che...lb-base-sizes/ your welcome

Whenever you get an LED bulb in whatever size you want, you will want to make sure it's an SMD LED. SMD's are usually brighter than regular LED bulbs.

..........

For everyone else, regarding the trunk light.....

Disconnect the battery, take out the entire housing, cut away and or shave off all the metal using a dremmel and different type dremmel bits so its all smooth and retro fit one of these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/120785680281...84.m1438.l2649

I have one in my lexus and I have to put on SPF50 because its that freakin bright. It actually comes with an adapter that will fit the current fitting but the actual light wont fit well if you leave the prongs in there. Just splice into the wires after the retro fit. Done. And your trunk will be bright as hell, trust me. I going to do this as soon as I get my car back. But I already looked and I know it can be done.

I understand that 74xhp is the right bulb, but is it plug and play for the doors?

if I remember right it is plug N play. BUT getting the bulbs out is a PITA.... I think .

and yeah the passenger side is gonna be dimmer. Its like that on my camaro and on two others that have done this, and we all used the Hyper White color, the driver side great...passenger side, sux nutz.
