02 Z28 vert back from paint!!!

02 Z28 vert back from paint!!! Well I went today to springfield to pick it up from the painters! I cant be anymore happier! The blue is a custom mixed blue, The green is custom mixed green, The black has a slight bit of blue pearl over it!! Shaved the nose emblem, an shaved the rear camaro panel an key hole, The painter completly took it apart. I wanted diffrent so it is kinda diffrent. I still gotta do clean up on it, Detail the engine bay an inside. The 3rd gen is my 91 Hardtop 305 beast! The holes in the 02 hood is for the black hood pins I have
When 1st bought Dec.26th 2008 All stock!!
Now here it is!!!

Looks great. I'm sure there will be a few people who don't like the two tone job, but regardless of what they think, that is one nice looking quality paint job. How much did you happen to pay for the paint job?

Thanks alot guys! Where i took the pics I had two older men at diffrent times come over an tell me i had a very nice looking car. It made me feel really good knowing time an money turned out looking good, Heck about time something went right for me LOL, As for price I paid $1,700 for it.

I got it painted by a guy named matt, He is out of Springfield tennessee. He has a shop on his land behind his house. Seen his ad on a local forum i get on an went an checked out his 88 drag camaro. From there my car was his till it was done painted!!! He was gone for 3 weeks, i never called him once 2 see when it will be done. When folks do that the person working on it feels rushed. Thats the last thing I wanted was for it too be rushed. So thats why I bought the 91 3rd gen in the pics, I bought it about 2 weeks ago so id have somethingelse to drive as a dd. $750 is what I have in the 3rd gen. Cold ac 146k miles clean inside. Needs paint an lil things so it will be next to him in a few months when I save up cash after christmas I hope !

i'm a big fan of two toned cars. the paint job looks great from the pictures and i love it when people put the border in between the two colors for some seperation.
BUT, i don't think those two colors go well together. they are too dark for one another. blue/black over blue.
i like the bottom color, but the top could have been a different color.
i dunno, i can't put my finger on it.

Um its a convertible, I really didnt have too much of a choice what color the top half could be being that it has a black top, Im loving an i like hearing peoples oppinions. Thats what gives ideas, But im very happy with it an glad my wife an I decided on these colors an I actually stuck with it an not changing my mind every 5 min lol oh by the way the colors are black on top then green stripe then blue, the blue an green are custom mix colors i mixed so it wouldnt be the same as every other blue an green out there. The blue pearl on the black is very small an only seen under flourescent light at like gas stations an car wash at night. Looks great in person not too much pearl in it where it over kills the black.

next time throw some tire shine on the tires and it will make the pictures come out 67 times better

Lol, well thats good then, I litaliery (SPELLCHECK) left the paint shop an stopped at the gas station to take the pics before it was dark when I would have got home. I will have some new pics here soon with the top up an the wheels all cleaned up an inside cleaned up with some interior pics. Glad its growing on ya!!!
