Talking My Double Din Install!

it took me a little while to get it perfectly lined up and everything but i am really happy with it.

no i havent bought the cables yet. i didnt have them with my old HU either. im thinkin of what i can put there

now i know why they charge so much. the bezel took alot of work and its not 100% but i noticed it after everything was painted. you can see in the first picture on the left side

it was a mixture of primer/textured plastic paint/ and the color coat. it was all done in a mini paint booth. (my installer/friend has one at his shop.) so as he made me do the work he painted.

up in the top left corner it does but when you press on it the screen goes blue and says something about parking? idk i bypassed the not being able to play videos while driving with a switch in the ash tray

What head unit is that? Kenwood DDX512? (I'm sorta blind, I think that's what it says in the corner.)And does it have a nav option? I like the fact that the display is in red, that's actually one of the big things to me in searching for a double din unit.

yea its the ddx512. you can actually change the display to pretty much any color you can think of. its has the nav option, i just didnt get it because i didnt want to spend 500 on it and i have nav on my blackberry

pretty much the only reason i have it up there is b/c sometimes when i rains at school i park in the garage up against a wall and it hides the barcode from being scanned, which helps me from not getting a ticket haha (they dont go off of license plates for some reason
