Default AC *****

Random question, does anyone know if the vent control ***** from ANY other vehicle will fit the Camaro? Getting a carbon fiber background from 6LE eventually and want some billet/chrome/stainless *****. The Mustang/Charger/Viper/Blazer/S10 ***** look awfully close, but I don't have access to these vehicles on a normal basis to try. Thanks in advance for any info.

Exactly, even the ones for the old viper looks like they could work, need somebody with access to a sportscar junkyard to respond to this.

I'm not paying $100 for freaking a/c ***** I don't care how cool they look. That can go toward my cam, stall, and dyno tune. Review on the link said the ***** were too tall without that backing plate and he had to grind them down which is a huge downside for the price.

If you get the headlight **** too its more like $120. Do you think factory billet pieces on the other cars he mentioned would be cheaper? I guess it just depends on the person. MY interior will be to a point where the only factory material left will be the *****. So its not really a choice for me. Plus they ARE billet, which is pricey in gneral. I mean they're worth the value, but you may not be able to justify the cost if you have a stock interior.

I'll probably eventually get them but seats and double din nav/cd/dvd/mp3 come first on the interior.

Well if you have ever even removed the factory ***** you'll know what all to look for. the biggest thing is gonna be weather the flat spot on the post is orientated in the same direction as the one in our cars. If that works then you gotta see if the barrell the post slides into will fit thru the hole in the control panel itself.

I have polished MBA ***** & have zero fitment issues. I bought mine used for $80 for all (4) *****. I'd be really suprised if the current ***** in the newer cars fit.

If you really wanna be that different have a custom set CNC'd.

Not looking to be that different, I would just like something that everyone else doesn't have, sometimes it's just nice to have more than one or two options.

I know what ya mean & I believe we would have more options if the f-body production wouldnt have stopped. Mustang guys have LOADS of options on interior pieces & exterior pieces. Some of the companies supplyin the f-body stuff either stopped or went under after production stopped though. So we are pretty limited unless your willing to design your own parts on some stuff.

Thats why I just got the MBA *****. You can have them powdercoated any color or anodized & honestly they arent super common. I only know of maybe 2 other f-bodies around my entire area with MBA *****.

VIP1 is thinking about trying these ***** from AutoZone. It's in the "Easiest TA Interior Mods" thread.

Here is another option:

Help / 3 pcs. GM 1991-2003 Temperature Control **** Assortment ---- $6.99

Hopefully those pics and links work. Sometimes Autozone's website uses cached information and posted links don't work.
