Question I've been looking, I need some help...

I'm looking for some rear inserts for my Camaro. I've found tons of the cheap vinyl decals, some stainless steel, and some acrylic inserts... I don't want just decals, I don't want shiny mirror stainless steel, and I don't want the acrylic cause they have the sharp edges and look sorta cheap to me....

I'm looking for some inserts similar to the design of the Factory SS badges, the smooth round edged flexible badges. Or something similar, just not what I've been finding...

I'd prefer Red or Black with Red outline... or maybe something different if it looks good...

Thanks for the help.

-Rick

Also, I think the stainless is nice, it just wouldn't work with my car...

BTW, I have a satin black berger.

from my personal experience, emblempros.com has the best stuff around. i have the mirror stainless inserts on my camaro, but if you dont like the look of those or the acrylic sets (which they have both of), get a set of their "composite" inserts. its a softer, more flexible material, and they are not shiny. i have a black set of fill-in inserts on my trans am, and i love them. they have a lot of different colors too.

-dont go with the cheap vinyls, they're not worth it at all. you will love the letters from emblempros. their fit, quality, and overall looks is perfect.

heres some of emblempros stuff
-this first pic is a composite set with a different color border than center, red and black like you asked for.
-the second picture is center etched mirror stainless. and they're on a car with a satin/flat (cant really tell) berger so this should give you a good idea of how it'd look on your car.

Yeah, I've seen those, they are from the site. I'll probably give the red/black a shot if I can't find anything else...

Do you have a pic of the composite you said you had? Are they sharp or rounded edges?

their emblems are cut in the exact shape of the letters on the car. so whether they are sharp or rounded depends on the shape of the letters on the car.
- sorry, the cars a little dirty.

Thanks, I was actually referring to the front face edges, not the letter edges... If that makes sense...

op you may want to check out this brent franker guy since it seems like you want domed letters. i remember finding a site a few years ago that sold domed letter fill-ins but i remember them being like $60+ for a set and i didnt't really care for them. ^we may be talking about the same person. i ended up finding muffinbusters (emblempros' old ebay account) selling them on ebay and got mine from them.
