Default 02 Power Leather Seats In a 1995 T/A?

I have a set of leather power seats out of a 2002 WS6. I want to put them into my 1995 t/a with manual seats. Is the plug somewhere under the carpet? Has anyone ever done this before?

I put 02 WS6 seats in my 00 SS and spliced into the factory wiring. T/A seats are different because they have the lumbar controls and crap as well. Under the carpet of a T/A there are air tubes that connect to both front seats and the pump is under the passenger seat (I believe). Without those, your lumbar controls won't work. Having said that, if you have manual seats now, most likely you won't have any plug under the carpet. Just run a positive wire under the seats and ground them. Splice into the 02 seats wiring and you should be able to go up/down/forward/backward. Hope that helps.

I got all the air hookup and everything out of the parts car. Just wondering if they will function as they did in the 02?

you should already have the air hoses installed in your 95 T/A. or was yours not a leather car? i know mine is leather and the hoses are there because the 95 seats have the same bolster/lumbar as the 02, they just don't have a power track. i am not sure if they installed those hoses in the non leather cars or not.

I also have a car that was a non power/cloth seat that I put leather TA interior into. My car doesn't have the connections under the seats so I had to just use the manual racks on the new seats.

I put power seats in my 87 Formula. All you need to make them work is a hot wire and a ground. Just run one from your fuse box....dont ditch the power tracks. Cut the end of the plug off and hard wire it.

I am putting 02 power leather seats in my 99 Pwr/Lthr seat Formula. My current driver's power seat has two wires. The 02 drivers seat has 6 wires. Are 4 not used? Also, my pass seat is not power but the 02 pass seat has the same 6 wire connector. Again, are only two used? Pass Power must be for the lumbar and air compressor. Just connect air hose from driver to pass, air pump is completely on pass seat?

I would think those extra wires are for the lumbar and all...the seats I put in where like the seats you have now. I am thinking that some of the wires are contected to each other since the pump is on the pass side (the drivers seat has to be conected to it to talk to it.) If I were you I would try to find a wrecked one and get the harness that connects them. I am THINKING that still one hot and one ground is all you need coming TO the seat to make it work.

My question is there a plug under the drivers seat and passenger seat for power? Or does the passenger piggy back power off the driver seat?
