Default DETAILS: '09 Carrera S, Yellow C4 Corvette

This customer saw me when I was doing the F430 last week. After explaining to him my buffing process, he asked me to inspect his finish. The results of hand washing at a local commercial car wash during this season:

After buffing with Megs M105/LC CCS purple, yellow, orange foam pads in sizes from 4"- 5.5":

Once completed with the polishing with M205/black pad, an application of our TC-3 Sealant xP with the red foam applicator:

Next up was this yellow C5 from a previous customer. New paint on the front and roof in the last 30 days.

After washing, clay bar to remove contaminants. This is from 1 square foot.

Once the clay bar was finished, I used theMegs M105/ 6" purple LC Kompressor pad/FLEX polisher for the majority of the surface treatment. Followed up with Megus 205/gray pad to smooth out the finish. LSP: TC-3 Sealant xP/red CCS foam applicator

Looks nice....

I really like the yellow vette... Is that a single stage? Or is the yellow in the clay overspray?

Thanks.

The majority car was a factory 2-stage BC/CC finish. The yellow overspray on the rear of the car was from the roof repaint. There was significant amount of brown residue removed too. Looks like it had never been clay barred previously.

Looks great. Have you guys started to carry the clay bars by themselves or are they still a part of a kit?

Gah, it's hard to believe GM went from the C4 body style to the C5. The C5's looks so different/better.

Thanks for your sentiments.

It just takes time and patience to start developing these types of results. The Meguiars M105 really helps to quickly remove alot of the fine scratches and dulling haze.

The more time spent on the surface, the greater improvement that can be seen.
