Does the SLP bowtie grill come without the bowtie attached like the SS does?

Like the title says. I was hoping that it came just bare without the emblem attached like the "SS" version does...

yep, sure does. i was really glad it did once i got it in the mail, because i knew i wouldnt like the red and knew that i wanted to paint it, and didnt want to have to worry about taping it all off.
