Go to home depot and get a leaf blower, and make a custom tip with a inch opening. voila!

I have something similiar. Its for dog grooming It was pricey also, but saved me 10-15 minutes per car. Everyone gets a kick out of it at first and then they see how well it works.

Is a leaf blower or something along those lines really the best way to dry a car?

I don't see why it wouldn't be, unless your paint is already chipped.

well i mean, for example: a hand dryer in a restroom sucks at drying your hands, the soap spreads around and barely comes off without wiping your hands down.

so i was thinking that it might have its cons, i might be wrong though.

Your hands are different than your car, plus the air compressor/leaf blower approach is way more powerful. The hand dryer uses heat and a low power fan. Also, if you still have soap on your hands when you go to dry them, you're washing your hands wrong.

I've been using a leaf blower for years, and was getting ready to buy another, but I'm going to try this instead. The old leaf blower has been good, but I'm hoping this works a little better - it looks like it will be much easier to work with since it has a flexible hose to direct the air instead of waving my leaf blower around.

I've gotten more than my fair share of strange looks for the leaf blower...hopefully this will be a little more low profile
