Default Side Molding! done

After i saw some pics of this i figured id try it on my 98 white ws6, Was meh kinda easy. has to do a little wetsanding but got it done, after these pics i washed and did a good waxing on the whole car.

Before and yes very dirty car:

first part off:

got the sticky off and used some bug and tar remover:

Far away and just did wetsanding:

Did it on my red one, got real lucky, didn't mess up the clear coat, and took very little cleaning and no sanding. I'm planning to do the same before my "new" one goes to paint. A bit risky on protection, but it really cleans up the look.

you dont need to use any sand paper.
just take blow dryer and heat up the glue under the moldings that peel them off. than take goo gone or bug/tar remover and clean off the glue left overs

If the cars never had any paint work you don't...if it has you will have paint lines to sand out. Its hit or miss with 10 year old or so cars.
