I just bought an 01 NBM WS6. I was wondering what you guys have done for appearance mods. I have plans for chrome inserts on the hood and side gills. I was wondering what more I can do other than my classic theme of tint, HIDS, and brakes. Pictures would be great. I'll also get some pics up of my car when I get home. Thanks in advance, now its time to see some sexy birds..

I wouldnt put chrome on the front inserts if anything do the front bird, side trans am and the pontiac on the back. I always like the simple clean look.

I really like how the 6LE splitter looks on NBM cars, but that's me. And some blackbird stripes in the color that you SHOULD do the Ceta mod with. The usual !molding and !emblems. I really don't like chrome but it's your car, do what you want and don't let others tell you otherwise.

The front bird is already white, the trans am on the doors are also white and the back "Pontiac" I filled with mirror inserts.

I would take out the mirrored inserts in the back and do them in white to match the front and sides.

I'm also a fan of the side molding delete.

I would avoid the chrome. You don't want to take attention away from that awsome color.

Screw the haters, Stainless Steel looks amazing on NBM. I did charcoal blackbird stripes, a black CETA mod, and stainless steel front bird, stainless ram-air letters, and stainless pontiac inserts.

I bought all of my stainless stuff from emblempros years ago and it's held up amazingly.

I need to get some new pics already!

This is the newest one I have and it's old. You can't really see the nice effect the stainless has, but you can definitly tell it's there. I also blacked out my sidemarkers and put LOTB badges on.

^ X2 on that i have always want to do stainless steel on my firehawk emblems on the side, but have just stuck with the silver theme.

Heres is what i would do to yours.

Stainless front bird
Stainless rear pontiac fill in
stainless side emblems (trans am) or shave them
delete the side moldings
get rid of the red bird between the tail lights
VHT your side marker lights and 3rd brake light
CETA if you really feel like it only in black. Either way look good to me tho.

Love the NBM.

Instead of going with the Stainless look (many people are going that way) to be different I went with red PONTIAC Lettering.

I think it fits in with all the red on the rear of the car.

The CETA mod should only be done in black, IMHO. Black and NBM T/A's don't need the CETA mod done.

Firehawk682 where did you get the blue Firehawk gauges? I got the silver CETA on the back with black ZR1s with silver lip. Black Ram air hood to make everything flow together. My colors are Blue, Black , and Silver. I like so thats what counts.

this is how mine is sitting right now......i have some metallic grey black bird stripes and front bird and rear inlay waiting and i MAY paint my spokes to match like the black birds but i am not sure on that

me personally i do not like white/stainless/chrome on NBM it distracts too much but again that is just my opinion

^ Phantomzer knows whats up. When i bought mine it already had a full set of silver overlays on it(pics in my album) and it looks amazing but i would say 2nd best to stainless. stainless and NBM jus looks so sick! Dont do any stripes through not needed on an NBM. for the CETA mod ya it looks good only in black or charcoal though.
