Default Projector headlights that are NOT halo's??

Does anyone make a projector headlight for the 98-02 camaro that does not have halos?

I don't believe so. Retrofit is the only way

I don't mind the halos too much, but I really dislike the leds...

I would love some stock-like projector headlights with black housings

Hell no, i searched forever , i hate those damn ricer halos , i wish a company would just make a stock headlight set in glass and not the cheap plastic that u have to polish every other month

Glass would most likely crack and develop craters from road debris

Take a look at your windshield, although it may not have cracks it most likely has pits and craters from small rocks. Plastic is cheaper and lasts longer

Don't know about that. Cars always had glass headlights years ago. Sealed beam units are glass.

I feel like the glass would be made too thin. Those ebay headlights are of lesser quality than OEM lights...

But hey, if someone made it work I'd be all over it

I was thinking about this the other day... I'm buying a new set of headlights soon, and foglights.. I still have one of the foglights, maybe I could try and retrofit the projector into one of the old headlights for the hell of it....

i might buy a pair of those ebay projectors but i am NOT hooking up those halos. If there was a way i could just take the halos out and make sure it sealed back up 100% i'd do it.

You could retrofit HID projectors (ex: FX-R) into the stock Camaro housings.

Check out the Lighting FAQ on here and the Forums at HID Planet for more info on that.

Buy a set that has the halos and dont hook up the halo wiring. And I think there is a way to take those out. See a few builds on them where you separate the housing to get the FX-R in the housing. Might see if they can be taken out.
