Default Made a Double Din for a friend.

A friend of mine in our club wanted a double din HU for his firehawk and wanted it on the cheap. So we worked out a deal, I got his Magnaflow polished cat back and he got a double din bezel wrapped in vynil and I installed it also. So heres a couple of pics, my other camera is being a pain so these are my phone pics. This is with the unit installed in my car for test fitting.

I could make more but I like to have the radio its going to be for on hand so I can make a nice snug fit. Some units have small variations in outside dimensions and I wouldnt want to give you something that doesnt fit.

How do you mount it in the dash? cause the mounting shelf is for a regular radio.

Nice work . We sell those already modified...

http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...roducts_id=101

We also sell a low price ABS version that we waterjet...

Either of them come standard DD size or can be made a custom size for no extra charge.

I had to cut out the top of the opening and remove the plastic shelf that divides the a/c to th radio side.

I glued it with spray adhesive all the way around. It wasnt as bad as I though it wouldve been.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

If I really wanted to I would have just made mention of it in the private sponsor forum since there's talks of people contacting you for work. Instead I chose to compliment the work and of course do what I pay a lot of money to do, advertise my work

Looks great, I'm totally stealing your idea now. I was just wondering whether one would even fit, now I know. Time to get to work on finessing the dash plate.
