6LE Come In
So it's getting to be winter time, and I don't know about the rest of yall, but cold weather is not conducive to cleaning cars.
I get alot of buildup on my back bumper and fenders right behind the wheels.
I'm planning on getting a set of the 6LE "mud flaps" and will post pics once I order.
Any way you could come up with something to mount under the car to deflect air flow so that debris(dust, oil, etc.) doesn't collect on the rear bumper?

I haven't seen a diffuser on a third or forth gen. Post up a pic of a third gen diffuser, I'm sure if there was a forth gen version it would be very similar since the rear suspension is all the same. I thinking about making a front and rear diffuser for my T/A but I have yet to put my plan into motion. I'm not really sure if it would make that much of a difference.

That looks pretty good on that third gen. I was thinking more of a diffuser without those vertical canards. Looks like it was pretty easy for the guy to make since there are no curves on his rear bumper, it's all straight. Looks to me like that guy made it more for looks then actual performance benefits.

Correct, it looks factory on that third gen, what I'm thinking of is completely for function, so looks aren't that big for what I'm thinking, just as long as it gets the job done.

why would you want that on your car unless you needed it? i guarantee it doesn't keep anymore dirt off your bumper than without it... it may be just me but that is as equivalent to a Honda putting a 5ft spoiler on their car... if i saw that on the street i would just shake my head in disappointment!

What I am imagining is a sheet of metal or composite that is under and HIDDEN by the bumper, but is designed and angled in such a manner as to change the direction of the air flow. If anything it is not for looks.
I would really like to try it out in a wind tunnel so you can see what I mean.

Yup, been working on a fiberglass one but metal is something I could make super quick.
Design idea right now involved basically just covering the gas tank and floor recess though (basically the center part) due to the exhaust...
This would help aerodynamics though by cutting down on the "parachute" effect with the bumper...
