Carbon Fiber Sail Panel

does anyone have one on their F-body???

after i saw a z06 with the carbon zr1 roof i thought it would be interesting to see it on an f-body.

i think 6LE was either trying to make, or thinking about making one, but since i havent heard anything about it, i guess the idea got scraped

I have a idea in mind for mine, but the car has to go to paint first. If I end up doin it & it turns out alright, I'll definetly post pics. It will not be a traditional "wet" CF look though.

i forget if they ever made a prototype piece not (i dont think so), but i remember them talking about it in the forum on their website, mybe on here. it was supposed to be a complete replacement piece for the stock one. Maybe Mark will chime in here

i was thinking about painting it allong with my side mirrors, but im not sur how it would look, can anyone photoshop it on a black TA???

mark isnt planning on doing one any time soon. i posted up a thread about it. i want one just so i can replace the bubles on mine. if i were to buy a CF i would just repaint it gloss blk. i know someone made one a while back.

It is just way cheaper for you to go to a local shop and get the stock one wrapped in CF than to buy one pre-made, get it shipped, get yours cut off and get it glued on...
