Default Tropi-Care gone or name change???

I clicked on the sponsor link to the right for Tropi-Care and was redirected to Showroom FX. I searched ls1tech but couldn't find any info about it. I don't wanna order anything from them if the formulas or quality of customer service changed with the name. Has anyone heard anything?
Thanks
-Chris

looking at a couple of the reviews on there products, it actually stats tropi-care in the comment. So i assume they just have sold out or changed there name.

It seems like the pics for their products are the same. I've spent too long on their site before haha

I was just looking at stuff on the site two or three days ago and it was Tropi-care. The next day it was ShowroomFX. I was going to start a thread like this, just never got around to it.

Ill buy their products if it is in fact the same company/products.

MY guess since I am a member there too is its just rebadged cg's products...but just an uneducated guess?
(ps: a lot of ls1tech members are on autopia too)

News Update

Effective January 1, 2010 Tropi-Care will officially become Showroom FX. As Showroom FX, we will continue to provide the same great products under the Showroom FX brand name as well as introducing new products during the course of the next year.

The most exciting part of this announcement is that we are now offering detail services by appointment through our website.

Over the next several weeks, we will be finalizing our new website at www.showroomfx.com to reflect the latest products and pricing. All Tropi-Care product references and pricing have ended.

Please contact me with any questions at steve@showroomfx.com or by phone at (866)341-0050.

Sincerely,
Steve Pasztor
Showroom FX
Got that this afternoon from Steve.

Yes, Tropi-Care will become ShowroomFX on January 1, 2010. Same great product, just a new name. Steve has been very busy with "the change". I met with him at the Autorama a few weeks ago and he is very excited about ShowroomFX. Some might have noticed that he and I have removed all Tropi-Care references from the board. The website is getting updated everyday. As with all businesses the legal issues are the hardest to deal with. We thank everyone for their support and cannot wait to introduce ShowroomFX.

Can we know why the change? Why not leave the name and just add the other stuff?

Steve will answer all your questions when he is able to. I cannot speak for him. I am/was a rep for Tropi-Care for the last 5 years. I have talked with Steve and hope to continue on with ShowroomFX. Tropi-Care has built a great reputation over the years and I hope the transition with the new name will be even better.

Here's the latest:

I have decided to move in another direction with our car care product business. We have contacted as all of the previous online customers in regards to the name change.

I will continue to provide the same level of customer service as previously. As one will notice with the revamped website, we are refining our product offerings and will continue to add new products as time permits. We look forward to the new opportunity.

As mentioned earlier, I haven't been on autopia over the years. However, we have had a number of our products used and tested by a number of detailingbliss.com forum members.

Feel free to contact me with your questions.
